Christi is a dual certified Psychiatric and Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner. She has over 20 years of experience in healthcare. She practiced as an acute care nurse at Inova Fairfax Hospital before obtaining her Master’s degree from George Washington University in 2012 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She practiced in primary care in Northern Virginia for almost a decade, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions, including mental health.

Christi discovered a passion for helping patients manage their mental health, and completed a post-master’s certification at Johns Hopkins University where she became board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She founded Affinity Health & Wellness in 2022 in an effort to increase access to mental healthcare in our communities. She is working in collaboration with a licensed Psychiatrist in Virginia.

Trained in both family medicine and mental health, Christi has the unique ability to understand the mental and physical landscape of the human condition.
